About Me

I am a home school mom of 2 wonderful children. With both of my pregnancies, I followed my own advice I give in this blog. My children were also born under the care of a midwife with no pain medication.  I did have Pitocin with one of them after 11 hours of having my water broken and NO contractions.  I still survived with no pain meds and you can too. I have also had one miscarriage. I have struggled with infertility for 14 years.  I feel that my own personal experience and research can be helpful to many moms-to-be.

So I was a little hardcore when I was pregnant with my kids. Isn’t that a mom’s job, be an advocate for their kids? I think all moms’ need to be more serious about what it means to do the best you can for your kids. Everything you do will affect the life growing inside you. Take it seriously. Think about the things that you put in your body and how they affect you. Now think about how they affect your baby. Their little body isn’t even developed enough to handle half the stuff most women think is ok.

I am very opinionated on this information and I’m not here to offend you and make you feel bad, I just want you to be aware and think about what you are REALLY doing. I’m also not here to make you feel better and tell you everything is ok. Chances are, it’s not.

All parents want to give their child “The Best” so, why not start by not being so selfish and give this baby what it needs to grow healthy and strong!
